School Procedures A-Z

Absence

When children are away from school a note or personal (phone) message must be given by parents or you can register the absence through your login on the uEducateus site.

First Aid

Generally, minor injuries at school are attended to by a teacher "on duty" at that time. In the event of a serious injury every effort will be made to contact parents immediately. If they cannot be contacted, then the emergency contact numbers supplied on the enrolment form will be used. It is recommended that all parents join an ambulance scheme.

Health & Infectious Diseases

Infections spread quickly at school and children should be excluded if they are infectious. Click here to see a table detailing the minimum period of exclusion from Primary School for children with an infectious disease.

Illness

Medical details and necessary telephone numbers are on file in the office. All efforts are made to cope with accident or illness and we will contact you if necessary. For this reason, it is vital that all changes of address, work and home telephone numbers, emergency contacts, etc are kept up to date on our school records.

Medical

Parents of students who require medication whilst at school are required to complete an additional permission form to administer the medication.

Students with Anaphylaxis, Asthma or Epilepsy are asked to provide an ‘Anaphylaxis Management Plan’, ‘Asthma Action Plan’ or ‘Epilepsy Management Plan’ so that we can manage these conditions. You can access the Asthma Care Plan for Schools here.
